Sometimes being a mama is hard! There are days when I feel like I cannot make it through the day without crying! It’s really difficult to believe that their our other mamas out there just like me…but there are!! Desperate proves it! Sally Clarkson and Sarah Mae do such a wonderful job of making all the moms who feel so very alone, feel loved and encouraged! They also speak with honest and open hearts and they share their true struggles of being a mom, something refreshing that isn’t always the case in so-called mom books!

From the very first page I was hooked!!!

“Dear Sally,
I’m really struggling with being a mom today. I feel overwhelmed and underprepared. What if I fail my kids? I’m so scared of messing up. Can I really do this motherhood thing well? Can I really love my children the way they need me to? I feel so inadequate today. Please tell me I’ll eventually settle into motherhood with an assurance that I can be a good mom.
Love, Sarah Mae” Desperate page 37

Wow!! It was like she was a fly on the wall in days past and very recent if I am being honest!
