Something that I truly love about being a mom is sharing Gods word with my children! I love that look on their little faces when they are learning…nothing compares! My children {especially my oldest} love reading and listening to the bible! Recently I created a Armor of God Lesson for them…and they LOVED it! Now, the Armor of God Lesson is available for a free download {Armor of God DOWNLOAD} The lesson packet comes complete with a lesson, puppets, word search, fill in the blank, matching…and more! It’s perfect to use at home, Sunday school & co-op! There are girl pages and boy pages as always {when you have boy/girl twins it becomes second nature to make 2 of everything…one in pink and on in blue!}

The Armor of God
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Ephesians 6:10-18
My kids learn visually so reading this passage alone was NOT engaging them at all! Once I added in the puppets the twins were hooked and Elias loves everything bible related, puzzles, games & word searches {note** this word search is very basic…the twins pick out the letters to create words: that was my intention!} I also paraphrased very little.
I hope you enjoy these as much as we have! Please feel free to share this lesson packet link on your site!

I am going to use this in my Preschool Children’s church class tomorrow. We have been working on the armor of God. They love it. Last week we made shields. This week we are making belts of truth. But I like to remind them of each piece every week. I shared this on facebook because it is so cute. Thanks for having this.
