14 Days of Quiet Time: Day 2

smallquiet

twoWell today didn’t go as planned! At 3:00 a.m my he twin woke up and was scared of something and came and got in our bed {This NEVER happens…seriously its been about 4 months} realizing that he is not in bed anymore my she twin comes rushing in and climbs in between mommy and daddy. It took me nearly 2 hours to fall back asleep…not all because of the bed guests but because my throat was killing me! I fear I may have strep again!

I didn’t even get out of bed until 8:30…

This morning was not nearly what I had planned…but it wasn’t bad either!

I LOVED this from my reading this morning…

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,

“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

I have been loving this song lately and I just had to share! I love the lyrics!!!

“My God’s not dead
He’s surely alive
He’s living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
My God’s not dead
He’s surely alive
He’s living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
He’s roaring He’s roaring He’s roaring like a lion

Let hope arise
And make the darkness hide
My faith is dead I need a resurrection somehow
Now.. Now I’m lost in your freedom
Now.. And this world I’ll overcome”
