Kicking up energy with En-R-Gee

From the moment I heard about En-R-Gee I was intrigued!

What is En-R-Gee? En-R-Gee is a blend of rosemary, juniper, lemongrass, nutmeg, Idaho balsam fir, clove and black pepper. And it does exactly what the name suggests it helps boost energy!

Okay let me be honest here for a second…when I first opened my first bottle of En-R-Gee I did not like the smell I think it. But, don’t worry if you don’t at first. After a few hours it quickly turn into one of my absolute favorite oils! Now it is such a comforting wonderful smell to me! It has become a staple in my husbands and my morning oily routine!

My sweet Hubby works from home which is AAAwesome! He works “Early” east coast hours {ummm yeah we are west coasters} After an incredibly hectic day we didn’t make it to bed until well after midnight…he had to work the next morning, in fact he had a E-A-R-L-Y meeting. When I woke up and went down to the office I expected to find him half awake and DRAGGING. To my utter surprise he was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! He told me that when he woke up he felt like crap and didn’t feel like he got any rest at all 😦 He decided to rub a little En-R-Gee on his temples, forehead, back of his neck and wrists before he headed down to his office to log on. His plan was to log on get everything situated and then close his eye for a little bit in his chair…but…by the time he logged in to his work computer the En-R-Gee had done its magic! He now uses En-R-Gee every morning and cannot imagine his mornings without it!

For me its been just as wonderful. I have been using it in the same way every morning too! Also I like to put a drop on my wrists before our hikes, I love doing this because I can smell my wrists when I need a little pick me up {Our regular trail is pretty long and has some climbing – on hot days it can be a killer!} Similar to my husband’s experience I have been amazed at the ‘magic’ that is En-R-Gee! On particular afternoon I was drained. The kids were napping and having daily ‘quite time’ and I thought I’m going to lay down and just rest for 15 minutes. I decided to diffuse En-R-Gee in the living room. With in a matter of minutes I felt rejuvenated and ready to tackle tasks that early had seem to daunting. I’d call that a En-R-Gee win!

Our Favorite ways use En-R-Gee?

  • When we don’t feel as rested as we like in the morning we both rub En-R-Gee on our temples.
  • I love to diffuse En-R-Gee for me- especially in the afternoon! Especially when I have had an extra crazy morning/mid-morning…Haha who am I kidding that almost every day! I also LOVE diffusing it in the school room!
  • For a little extra get up and go I like to rub En-R-Gee on the bottoms of my feet.
  • My husband likes to use En-R-Gee when he is studying for school (he just started his bachelors/MBA program)
  • If were driving late at night and are starting to get sleepy En-R-Gee really can help late-night driving even better than caffeine.
  • We also have used En-R-Gee to help purify the air in a stinky room or two.

I just can’t even begin to tell you guys how pleased I am with En-R-Gee! It’s absolutely go to oil for our family! My husband wants his own bottle that he can keep in his office!

Have you used En-R-Gee? I love to hear your thoughts on it and how you use it!
