Perfectly Pinned Monday

Welcome to the VERY first installment of “Perfectly Pinned Monday”
Do you love Pinterest as much as I do? I cannot tell you how many times I have referenced my boards! Remember what is was like before Pinterest? Searching for a link…trying so hard to remember where you saw that idea, recipe, craft!! Ahhhh! Thankfully those days are over!!!
Each week I will showcase some of my favorite pins from the week before! I will include all the links if available! Also I will notify you if a link is corrupt…I have been sent to some less that family friendly sites 😦 Thank the Lord my kiddos were not around!
Please feel free to comment your Pinterest link and your favorite pins!
I’m so very excited to share with you some of the great pins from this week!
Love these money saver jars to teach kids about giving/saving/spending.
We live in a world full of “want want want” “me me me” This blessing jar gives us the chance to show our little ones how truly blessed we are! Every time the Lord answers a prayer or you get blessed by a kind word write it on a little piece of paper and put it in a jar! Have your kids do it to! At the end of every month go dump out the jar and read the blessings! Oh the Lord is so good!!

My little girl LOVES hair “Pretties” This is super cute and super easy….maybe one in EVERY color?!?!

Before and After!

If you know me, you know that I love the Other Mother’s quarter sale! I have been going to it nearly every month since I was 5 months pregnant with Elias! I Love getting a good deal!

I have paid .25 cents for some truly awesome stuff! But my most recent find takes the cake!!

The Changing Table: Hmmmm, what can I do with Satin Lagoon Paint and 2 hours??

BEFORE

**When we bought it (for .25cents:) It didn’t have the two bottom shelves. We actually made them out of a hollow wooden door taking up space in our garage. I removed the top shelf and traced it on the wooden door, then my husband used his circular saw, with one cut the blade went through the whole door, thus creating 2 shelves.

Please note the hollow door has cardboard glued between the boards, so if you cute through one, be sure to have a sander ready to remove all the glue reside.

AFTER

Satin Lagoon up close!

Perfect fit in the Twins Room!
The “New” BEAUTIFUL changing table holds, all the Cloth Diapers,
All the Baby Carriers, and the Twins Shoes…and there is still room!!

Happy Crafting and Creating!

Two hours well spent! I love it!!

Recycled Gift Packages!!

Fun Recycled Gift Packages!!

So we all have the left over cardboard roll of
many, many, many rolls of wrapping paper…right?

What about turning those rolls into cute little gift boxes!
The kids will even enjoy this!
They can make their very
own gift boxes for their friends!

Here’s how to do it:

3 different size roll, cut random sizes.

Other supplies you’ll need:
Decorative Paper
Scissors
glue
paint brush
pencil

with the pencil, mark the size of paper you will need.
cut it, then lay it face down
apply glue to the edges of the paper, then smear with the paint brush.
Place the cardboard roll on the paper.
Then…roll, until the cardboard is totally covered.
use glue to seal the end of the paper for a clean edge.
Allow to dry!

Once dried this is what it will look like,
Already cute!

At each end bend on side of roll in.

Then the other side to close it!

Now how cute are these!!!
Add a ribbon or other embellishments
to add your own style!
To fill just simply unfold one end:)
Hope you have fun with this, I know we did!
Have a crafty Thursday!!
