Do you have a daughter? Yes? Then Brave Girls is for you! We want our daughters to learn from a very young age to live bravely and boldly in their faith! Our precious little girls need to know that God created them for a special purpose! I want my daughter to know that she is a gift from God and I know you do too!

When I received my package with Brave Girls in it my daughter was sitting next to me when I opened it and from that moment she is carried around this book, looked at the pictures, had me read every single story to her and even slept with this book! She loves it so much! She loves the fact that this is focused on girls, having brothers she is used to hearing all about Sampson, Joshua,  David and  Noah Brave Girls is totally different and we couldn’t be more thrilled!!!

Who are the Brave Girls? They are five adorable girls with different personalities, who take us through a journey of the wonderful women of the bible!

Each story opens with the name of the woman, women or title {ex. The Bleeding Woman} of what the story is going to be about, then a title and a corresponding Bible verse. Each story is between 1 to 6 pages and ends with a thought from one of the Brave Girls then closes with a prayer!

From the moment I open this book I was totally and completely in love with it, not only is it illustrated unbelievably beautiful but the front cover is bright and engaging with beautiful illustrations that my daughter is absolutely in love with! Brave Girls is so much more than just a pretty book, it’s jam-packed full with over 200 pages of encouraging, brave and strong women of the Bible helping our daughters become brave & strong women!

IMG_4709

Something that I LOVE about Brave Girls is that your girls learn about women of the bible that are not talked about a lot…especially to children.

Like, The Bleeding Woman (page 153) this is not a commonly discussed (with little girls) woman of the bible. But she should be in my opinion, this woman had been suffering for 12 years, ostracized, and sad. Brave Girls presents it in a way that helps young girls understand that God has a plan for EVERY SINGLE one of us, as well as teaching compassion towards others…no matter what they’re going through!

The story of the bleeding woman is titled “Healing Touch” taken from Mark 5:24–34

Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy load. I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

God, you are the only one who can heal us when our bodies are sick and when our hearts are worried and sad. Thank you! Amen.

But it’s not just the story of the bleeding woman, every single story in this book is presented in such a beautiful way for even your youngest daughter to understand and I love that! Teaching these little ladies no matter what the situation is, God can do anything and God can use anyone, take Rehab for instants!IMG_4710

God created all of our daughters for a purpose and Brave Girls teaches that God loves them and wants all girls to live their lives fulfilling his purpose!

If you have a little girl this is a book that you for sure want to have on your bookshelf!

One of our favorite Regal Relationships is found on {page 439 in the book of Psalms}

Royal route Psalm one “Have you ever watch the trees in the middle of the storm? Through the bend and this way, the roots buried deep in the ground anchor them and keep them standing strong. Someone tells us that we, as gods princesses, need to be like trees with strong roots. We need to grow deepen our understanding of God, his word, and his ways. This will enable us to stand strong against the bad things in this world. We grow deeper roots as we begin to trust God’s goodness and love towards us. God promises that at the right time, he will produce the fruit in our lives that will help others come to know him too. So learn and grow and stand tall in God’s love!

Wow right? I am so impressed with his Bible it is put together in such a fun and beautiful way!

IMG_4702

More than anything I am absolutely in love with the fact that this Bible is not a paraphrase Bible my husband and I are not big on paraphrased bibles, if we do get a paraphrased Bible like a children’s storybook, we always open up our Bible and read the actual biblical text giving them strong understanding of God’s word and what the Bible says!

God’s Little Princess Holy Bible is just a win-win in our home!

Do you have a little girl that maybe is going to be getting baptized or a birthday or maybe even Christmas this would make a beautiful special gift for the little girl in your life!

I absolutely recommend this if you have a little princess in your life this is a perfect addition to her very own library and to her faith!

TNM Growing up can be scary but no matter what we have to grow up whether we like it or not. IMG_5279 Introducing “It Will Be Okay: Trusting God through Fear and Change” by the always amazing Lysa TerKeurst and illustrated by Natalia Moore. It Will Be Okay is one of the sweetest books that I have read in a long time! It will help teach our children from early age that in the midst of scary circumstances they don’t have to be afraid! Not only was it a comfort to my children but it was also a comfort to me! You see, last week it very close family friend…my mom’s best friend suddenly died. Both my mom and I have really struggled with “why” it’s been really difficult. We know she isn’t suffering anymore and for that we are praising God…but we don’t want her to be gone. Now, who would have thought that this children’s book would have brought me such comfort!? IMG_4704It Will Be Okay follow along as Little Seed and Little Fox face fears big changes and new things…all things that they don’t like! When you open up this beautifully illustrated book you’ll find a letter entitled “hi friend” You will also find quote scriptures to memorize with your kids” including

  • Romans 8:28
  • Genesis 28:15
  • Zephaniah 3:17
  • Jeremiah 29:11

From there the story begins “in a dusty shed on the rickety shelf hidden in a cozy packet with the tiny seed

In It Will Really Be Okay you meet two precious characters Little Seed and Little Fox! Both of them going through things that make them afraid, from there they’re unlikely friendship with each other begins.
